Web Design and Marketing
Good commercial photography is not created in a vacuum. The photographer participates in the marketing conversation from the beginning of a project. In the creative industries we often swap hats. The photographer can be stylist, artistic director, designer; even project manager. As commercial photographers we work closely with the designer and web master. We are heavily involved in the marketing agenda. We are often the first part of the creative team to meet the client and really explore their business. That initial photo shoot will usually determine the creative direction of the marketing programme.
From early 2009 FAI was increasingly collaborating with two experienced industry professionals and the fit just worked. This has resulted in the EDS Marketing and EDS Corporate initiatives. We pool our skills and resources and offer website, image and design packages with a highly focused marketing thrust. FAI will often take the creative lead on a project and drive the website design. This has allowed us to expand our portfolio beyond simply image making, which is very exciting professionally.
