Been scanning old work from the very early days as a photographer. It's interesting to chart the development of my visual vocabulary though the negatives have about given up. Thus the surreal punch to the colour cast. It was so exciting. It was gratuitious wanton reckless image-making. I just ran about brutalising everything in sight with direct flash. Coshing things over the head with a Mecablitz hammer-head and that bloody battery pack bashing off my hip. Infuriating the lab manager with the squalid and bizarre instead of passajeros en plein air by San Lorenzo Cathedral in Genoa.
